Cy Mirol creates paintings in response to sound, music, aura, and resonance, embodying the fluid, synesthetic alphabet of sonic bodies she has created for Bookperformance [equally Performancebook]. Her work has been presented in literary and art festivals as well as Bookperformance events (2011–2021). Since 2021, works that transparently reflect compositions of Erik Satie, Leonard Cohen, John Coltrane, Franz Liszt, Maurice Ravel, and Ludovico Einaudi have been presented through exhibitions and/or live-painting performances open to the public and co-creation.
